Understand communication, strengthen language
Communication takes many forms. Perhaps you use your hands for gestures, a communication device like a tablet, or spoken language. Seeing, hearing, breathing, and clear articulation also play an important role.
When communication is difficult, it can have many causes. At Logopädie Warnke, we assess your situation individually and help you improve your communication skills step by step.
We support you with difficulties concerning speech, voice, swallowing, or other areas of communication.

Our Practice and Therapists

At Logopädie Warnke, we accompany you on your personal journey with professional expertise and great dedication. The practice is led by Elisabeth Warnke, who has worked as a speech therapist for many years and places great importance on a calm, friendly, and professional atmosphere.
You will be cared for by a small, well-coordinated team of four therapists. Through regular team meetings, professional exchange, and continuous training, we ensure that you are always treated according to the latest speech therapy findings.
Four reasons to choose our practice
Bright and spacious practice rooms
You will be treated in spacious, bright, and clearly structured rooms that create a pleasant atmosphere for focused therapy.
Wide-ranging therapy materials
For your treatment, a wide selection of diagnostic and therapy materials, as well as modern technical equipment, is available in every room.
High reliability through care in a small team
Close collaboration, clear arrangements for substitutions, and regular professional exchange within the team bring reliability and continuity to your therapy.
Speech therapy close by
You can reach our practice in the medical center at Hugenottenplatz, for example, directly from home, or from a nearby daycare, school, or pediatrician. Buses and trams also stop right outside the door.
Opening hours, fees, and more

Opening hours
We operate on an appointment-only basis, meaning our appointments take place at pre-arranged fixed times. Your therapist will schedule your appointments individually with you.

Phone availability
To avoid disturbing treatment sessions, our phone does not ring. To take your inquiries, we use an answering machine. Please always leave your name and number. We will call you back as soon as possible.

In an emergency
If the main entrance to the medical center is locked, you can enter the building through the pharmacy. If another door is locked, please leave a message on our answering machine or call your therapist directly.

Prices & Fees
For legally insured patients: Co-payment requirement
Legally insured individuals are required to make co-payments from the age of 18. The co-payment is ten percent of the service cost plus ten euros per prescription. Under certain conditions, patients can be exempted from co-payments. Please consult your health insurance provider regarding co-payment exemptions. Co-payments go entirely to the health insurance providers and are deducted from our service billing.
For privately insured patients: Transparent and comprehensible fee billing
The prices are based on the Fee Schedule for Therapists (GebüTh) and are agreed upon in the treatment contract between you and our practice. This is because some private insurance companies' reimbursement amounts are below the rates for publicly insured individuals, which, according to the Federal Court of Justice (BGH), patients do not have to accept. Learn more here. If you have doubts about your health insurance provider/aid office and want to clarify your reimbursement claim in advance, we would be happy to provide you with a cost estimate.
Cancellation Fee
As a therapeutic practice, we operate on an appointment-only basis with fixed appointments. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. If an appointment is missed without timely cancellation, the German Civil Code stipulates that the patient must pay the agreed cancellation fee.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Without a speech therapy prescription issued by a doctor, our appointment cannot take place.
Even if, for example, you are unsure whether your child needs therapy and would like us to assess this, a prescription for therapy is required.
Tip: If your doctor is hesitant to prescribe speech therapy, ask them to issue a prescription for two to three sessions to allow for an initial assessment and diagnosis.
Pediatricians, general practitioners, ENT doctors, dentists, orthodontists, and neurologists can prescribe speech therapy.
From the date of issue, the prescription is valid for 28 days. If "Urgent treatment required" is checked, it is only 14 days.
If the period has expired, the prescription becomes invalid and therapy cannot begin. In this case, have your doctor update the prescription promptly. Subsequent prescriptions needed to continue therapy also have the same validity and must be updated if obtained too early.
Without a valid prescription, therapy cannot begin or continue.
Typically, a therapy session lasts 45 minutes and takes place once or twice a week. Doctors can prescribe 30, 45, or 60-minute therapy sessions.
Treatment costs for children and adolescents are covered by statutory health insurance. Adult patients are required to make a co-payment. The coverage of costs for privately insured individuals is regulated separately. Please read our Information.
